ZOMG IT'S FINALLY OVER

well yes now the contest is over~ me and have decided the winners |3 w00t 8D

we liked so many entrys so we desided to have some runner ups ;0; since I'm the lazy one I will draw chibis (like this one [link]) as a runner up and *northen-light will draw a doodle like this one [link]

we have choosed 6 persons who's gonna get a runner up and they have to tell me if they want a chibi or *northen-light if the want a doodle, but I only have 3 places and *northen-light 2 so those who are first will get thier doodles or chibis whatever you like xD with other words, you have to be fast >8D

1st is: her pic was great with an really interesting theme, not many details but it still deserves a little prize

the 2nd person who gets a runner up is another person with a great theme, and her little comic is lovely, great job :'3

the 3th person is funny theme, lovely outfits, great shading, overall awesome

the 4th person is she seemed to have worked alot with this pic and put a great effort into this opposite yin and yang thing XD it's great even the sun and moon are in opposite places ^^

and last but not least the 5th person who is quite funny idea to put them into cards, another awesome work

at 3rd place we have she did an awesome job with the details and it's really good that she drew it traditional (we should suppoet that more )her details are outstanding, the cover the entire pic, those two dark and hero chaos are lovely as well, But her theme wasn't creative ehough so unfortunately we could not place her higher then 3rd

at shared 3rd places comes I find this piece very beatuiful~
Both Orange and Purple looks so cute, and their colths are very creative and fits them well. I especially like Orange dress ;3
The fact that amiamy used both digital and traditional impresse me an it look really great and is pure eyecandy X3 plus that the theme is really creative ;D

her pic is simply awesome,love her theme, really creative with ice and fire~ the outfits she gaves Purple and Orange are outstanding and the effects are great the background is a bit empty but it's okay, starry skies are still awesome XD love this entry

attention duelists, my hair is going to tell you some news and important stuff about the contest |D (sorry, to much yugioh abridged series)

well anyway, sorry for keeping spamming this journal but I want to remind you about the theme in the contest since almost everyone seem to be drawing angel and devil. Well it DON'T has to be angel and devil, I mean, the main theme is LIGHT and DARK you know, and there's much more things in that kind of theme than just angel and devil : /
We have absolutly nothing against that that you're (have been) drawing it but, but still, it woudn't be wrong if some of you tried something else

here are the examples again: Holy-Goth, Rich-Poor, Good-Evil, Demon-Exorcism etc.

oh and btw. if you're going to draw angel and devil, you don't have to make Purple the nice one Orange the evil, it would be fun and more creative if the changed place ;3 but don't get us wrong, we do love all the entries >w< (we...sounds like I'm schizo) |D

okay now? XD; don't hate me plz . _ . just wanted to tell you cuz one of the thing we judges is how creative you have been...

Contest time

Okay me and have decided to have a contest now!! 8D

So What will the theme be?

You have to draw Orange together with her twin sister Purple

The theme in the contest will be Dark and Light or yin yang (which is the same thing really).
You can draw one like an angel and the other one as a devil for example or maybe like this (example for the yin and yang theme)

You are also allowed to add your own character in the pic, as long as our Real twins (Real is thier surname btw.) arn't just placed in the background.
For an example: They can be fighting your chars, our twins can be dressed as devils (or just look evil) and yours can be the holy good guy~~ or the opposite XD

Other examples: Holy-Goth, Rich-Poor, Good-Evil, Demon-Exorcism etc. be creative XD

How do I join?

It's eaaasyyy, just write in this journal that you want to join or send =EvilQueenie a note. When you're done with the pic just send me a link to the pic in a note or something

Rules

Well it's pretty simple as well, you have to draw our chars Orange and Purple and draw them in "light and dark" theme or yin-yang.

You are not allowed to steal others art, no hentai or yuri.
You are not allowed to flame at other entries.

And you don't have to draw them in sonic style. You can draw them in anthro or even anime (human) if you want to! 8D

You are allowed to use thier normal outfits but that ain't fun and you won't win in the creative part of the judgeing |D so plz design your own clothes for them C:

You are also allowed to use any medias you want, like photoshop, pencils water colors etc.

How we judge the entries

Quality and how creative you've been.
So your style doesn't really matter, if you just put effort in the pic you have a chanse to win :3

Deadline

The deadline will be the 31th August (plenty of time and we might extend it if ppl needs more time.

Prizes

1st Will get 3 months sub and 1 pic from me =EvilQueenie and one from *northen-light
2nd Will get 1 month sub and 1 pic from me =EvilQueenie and one from *northen-light
3rd Gets 1 pic from eihter me =EvilQueenie or *northen-light s/he has to choose XD
